RECIPE: Elderflower Mockito
Summertime cocktails are at the forefront of our minds at this time of year. We think this super refreshing non-alcoholic twistt on a classic mojito is the perfect accompaniment to spicy food. In fact, we’re yet to find a dish that it doesn’t compliment!
50ml Elderflower cordial (there are many varieties available in most supermarkets, or you can attempt to make your own using our recipe: http://www.chaatmagazine.co.uk/recipe-elderflower-cordial/ )
6 wedges of fresh lime
8 mint leaves
1 sugar cube or 1tbsp granulated sugar
(If you’re feeling naughty, add 50ml of white rum!)
In a large jug, crush all of the ingredients together using the end of a rolling pin.
Serve with crushed ice in a chilled long glass.
